Hurst made the decision to NOT do partial scoring for this reason: our goal is to teach students to answer questions totally correct for best outcomes in a non-punitive environment, build confidence for testing, and reduce anxiety before the exam. We want the experience of doing practice questions and exams in our testing platform to help students learn and understand how to apply the content in any situation or any type of question that you may see when taking the NCLEX – not memorize answers.
The end result will mean that as you practice taking these questions in your Hurst review materials, you learn better how to answer all formats of NGN questions "completely" correct - then when you take your NCLEX, you will get more answers right than wrong on the actual exam and this will lead to success and best outcomes for you!
